This is the website of Duhan Tarhan, a book cover artist and illustrator. I keep it simple: no cookies, no tracking and no ads. This page explains the little information the site does handle.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn’t use cookies, advertising or tracking tools. The fonts are stored on this site, so no request goes to Google or any other font service when you visit.

When you write to me

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and the details you write about your project. The form is delivered by FormSubmit to my email inbox (Gmail, by Google). If you email me directly, the same applies.

I use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, for the project and its paperwork. I don’t share it with anyone else or add you to any mailing list. I keep messages for as long as needed for that, and for any period the law requires for business records.

The mockup tool

The book mockup tool works entirely in your browser. The covers and images you add are never uploaded to me or anyone else.

So you can pick up where you left off, your last mockup is kept in your own browser’s storage on your device. Nothing leaves your device. To remove it, press Reset in the tool, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles basic technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. Cloudflare may also give me simple visitor numbers, such as how many people visited a page, without cookies and without identifying you.

Links to other sites

Links to INPRNT (prints), Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, WhatsApp and ArtStation take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there. Nothing from those sites loads on this site until you click.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or to stop using it. Just email me and I’ll reply within a month. If you are in the EU or UK and think your information is handled wrongly, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
